From the readers who recognized the 2009 Chevrolet Look at crossover utility vehicle, we randomly chose the name of Ray Jarest, of Grovetown. He wins a give-away from the Marketing Department of The Augusta Narrative.

First Tennessee Bank branch robbed

The corsair entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded affluence, according to a Memphis Police Responsibility statement. He made his getaway in a tan 1995-97 Lincoln Village Car with a dark vinyl top, chrome wheels and all the way whitewall tires.

The suspect was described as a thin black spear, about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, 30-35 years old and with crave hair. He was wearing a blue, deathly and white checkered jacket, risqu jeans and a brown hat.

No one was injured during the plunder, which is being investigated by the Safe Streets Charge Force, which includes members from the MPD, Shelby County Sheriff’s Business, the Germantown and Bartlett police departments and the FBI.

The last bank hijacking was on Friday, when a teller at a Bank of America divide in East Memphis was robbed. The suspicious, who is also wanted in connection with a robbery on Tuesday of another Bank of America, is still at open-handed.

Anyone with information about the robberies can make an anonymous call to Misdemeanour Stoppers at 528-CASH (2274). A compensate of up to $1,000 is available if a call leads to an apprehension.

No. 9 Cycles to Debut at Vancouver Show

Chris Depner and Corey Lawson are living the conjure up. After opening their custom bike research No. 9 Cycles in Langley, BC decent last month, metal fabricator Depner and dues painter Lawson are rushing to deliver their first commission in time for the Vancouver Motorcycle Show in Abbotsford later this month.

Depner describes the motorcycle he's edifice for a Langley longshoreman as a bobber-elegance bike featuring a shovel-utterly motor, springer front end, and white-enrage fail tires.

"It should be done for the show," say Depner, then clarifies, "That's two weeks away. It'll be done." 

The duo, who's end is to create "old-school custom bikes with today's technology," have hunger dreamt of their own shop, but for now still hold on to  their day jobs and despatch work at No. 9 Cycles to evenings and weekends. Depner notes though that they're already joining with their next customer this week to discuss details for another particularly build. 

The Vancouver Motorcycle Show runs Jan. 21-24, at the Tradex Nucleus at the Abbotsford International Airport, where along with the aforementioned bobber, the No. 9 Cycles boys will have their special bikes on display, as well as a line of routine painted helmets for sale.
