Jeep takes its Wrangler to a new level
30.01.10
It's a lot easier these days to take the relations along on a foray into the wilderness, thanks to the most ordinary Jeep Wrangler ever built.
I'm referring to the four-door, 2010 Wrangler Unconditional, which arguably is the perfect combination of kinsmen hauler and off-road fun machine.
This is the respected Wrangler that Jeep fans have reprimand to know and love — it's rightful been extended to provide room for up to five adults and their machinery.
The Wrangler Unlimited is a derivative of the native CJ, or civilian jeep, that showed up after Creation War II and has long set the standard for trail driving.
So the Never-ending could have a three-person back seat and a cargo tract that can hold up to 46.4 cubic feet of accoutrements, Jeep extended the two-door Wrangler by 20.6 inches.
The equiangular Wrangler never has been particularly suited for household use, mostly because the back seat is meant for just two people and there is very shallow cargo space behind the rear arse.

2011 BMW 550i GT
27.01.10
I have been known to go a typo or too, but I was very surprised to see BMW put one on the back of one of its cars. Evidently, the 550i GT was meant to be called the 550i TG - as in ‘tailgate’ – but, rather than fix the erratum, I guess the marketing folks firm to roll with it.
On the surface, the all-new 550i GT is the crown opposite of what we’ve come to distinguish as a Gran Turismo, those sexy, 2+2 sports cars that convey the elite from hotspot to transcontinental hotspot in drunk style at high speeds. No, the 550i GT is – and there’s no other way to say it - a hatchback. Not a crossover, or an SUV, but a data d fabric old fashioned hatchback .
Well, maybe not old fashioned. Five-door vehicles once in a blue moon get this big without squaring off the back end like a truck, or angling them quickly in an effort to emulate the flavor of the jiffy four-door coupe profile, in the way that the Porsche Panamera or BMW’s own X6 do (and, yes, the permanence of five-door, four-door coupes takes the parley ‘oxymoronic’ to new levels.)
