22.01.10
DAYTONA Seaside, Fla. - The payday for first-time winners in 2010 Marvy-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by His Royal Cask No. 16 got larger today when officials from Large-AM and Pirelli Tire North America announced the P Zero Honorarium program for members of the Pirelli P Zero Club.
Teams that finished in quod the top 10 in the final 2009 Rolex Series Daytona Norm and GT points standings are eligible for membership in the Pirelli P Zero Combine for 2010. When one of those teams in either class earns its first winning of the 2010 season, that team will procure the $5,000 Pirelli P Zero Bonus. If a P Zero Club fellow does not win or if a race winner has already won the P Zero Honorarium, the $5,000 will not be paid and will "rollover" into the P Zero Gratuity for the next race. The bonuses will continue to flow over until a new P Zero Club member team wins.
For the 2010 Rolex Series period finale at Miller Motorsports Parking-lot on Sept. 11, all members of the P Zero Cudgel will again be eligible for the bonus, regardless of whether or not they have won earlier in the season. In the end that a non-member of the P Zero Club wins the channel at Miller, the P Zero Bonus will go to the top-finishing "associate" team.
