GUELPH— As I poke along my gear along the drifted path and deeper into the forest, I uncertainty my sanity or that of anyone who would venture out in this weather.
The icy rumoured burns the exposed skin on my mug and the steam from my nostrils has crystallized on my moustache.
Several yards in, I find dwelling-place from the elements in a cedar thicket and take up disposal at the edge of a path where I can get a clear snap.
Within minutes I catch a flash of displacement through the trees and start filming, reasonable as they break over the crest of the hill and dart down the tree-lined chase toward me.
A swirl of crystal flakes rises like diamond dust in their wake, infectious the reflection of the mid-day sun.
They hurtle past, one by one, then die out down the trail as fast as they appeared, leaving nothing behind but the hollow of their tire treads in the snow.
These members of the Guelph Off-Avenue Bicycling Association are the antithesis of the stereotypical bike ring, or any fairweather cyclists for that matter.

Winter weather leaves many in Navajo Nation stranded

SHIPROCK — Benjamin Manygoats knows the acquire near the Four Corners monument greater than almost anything else.
