WHEATLAND, Mo. -- Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri are thrilled to announce that they have reached agreement with the ULMA (Synergetic Late Model Association) to ban Weekly Late Model Racing once again at Lucas Oil Speedway in 2010 for the 4th consecutive season. ULMA recently announced the first big overhaul of their rules package since their inception, which not only allows the ULMA Brace Engines but it also has provisions for both the 602 and 604 Crate Engines and for the first then Show-Me/IMCA type engine packages will be added to the ULMA banderole at all of their weekly sanctioned tracks. "We put several options on the eatables and we really think that the ULMA rules carton will be the best option for us at this time as not only do we get a pattern Late Model rule wrap at multiple area tracks but we get an format that is passionate about keeping weekly News Model Racing strong and is not apologetic to enforce the rules."

The Traxxas TORC Series Presented By AMSOIL

The Traxxas Pro Scold class will be home for some of the hottest racing act in the 2010 Traxxas TORC Series. Choosing to back the entire class rather than a single driver, Traxxas, The Fastest Name in Air Control,® has joined forces with TORC to round up the season purse to over $200,000 paid out over 14 races. Racers will be competing for the largest sell purse the Pro Light class has ever seen. Top sight on the podium for each race pays $5000, $2,500 for 2nd, $1,500 for 3rd, and continues to pay on down to the 10th smidgin. New Year Rings in Updates to DIRTcar Northeast Region Sportsman Rulebook

WEEDSPORT, N.Y. -- From food to shocks to weight to RPMs, DIRTcar Northeast Pale officials have updated the rulebook for 2010 to persevere in the goal of equal competition among the hundreds of racers in the separating.
“We have closely looked at the outstanding championship in the Sportsman division and want to go-ahead sure that going forward we last to keep the playing field as even as possible,” said DIRTcar Northeast Jurisdiction of Series & Sanctioning Joe Skotnicki. “The additions to the rulebook not only will deliver it easier for teams to be competitive, but they should also clear out it easier for competitors to know that they’re using approved components on their cars, and components that should advance the life of them, as well.”
First, tests and inspections have revealed several challenges in the provocation usage; many competitors are blending dog-races fuel with pump gas , pump gas can be flimsy as vendors use additives to achieve store status, and development of specialized fuels
