heater core??
I've just put in my new heater core and hooked it up. The core was removed and bypassed when i got the car so i hooked the hoses up top to top and bottom to bottom. Let it run till normal heat temp. the heater core sound like it getting a bit of a drizzle could be heard and after about 10 mins the bottom portion of it was warm, but top cold...i've got to tighten bottom hose because of slight leak.. Do you think i should switch hoses around? Is it normal to hear that drizzling sound from the heater core it sounded like coolant was going in at a slow?
there seems to be a bleeder valve next to the thermstat housing, but i don't know how to bleed it. it looks as though it needs to be turned because there is no push pin like for the tires. If i turn this do i keep turning till coolent seeps out then close?
you do have air in system does it have bleeder valves if it does open them or leave raditor cap off till thermastat opens
