How do I remove/replace front wheel hub assy to change wheel bearings on 95 ford f150 4x4 with manual locking?
My voyager wheel is scalloped bad and I figure it may be the wheel bearings causing this. I have the tire, caliper, and the top end of the hub off. I'm down to the point where there is a round fashion with 4 notches in it. Do I need a "special tool" to remove this and last? Have I reached the "point of no return"???
Yes, you will stress a special socket. I strongly suggest you purchase a good repair handbook if you are going to attempt this diagnosis and repair yourself.
