Sunnyvale's 'Guitar Man' dies; he was hit by car along Highway 101

Guy Myers worked for Hewlett-Packard for 19 years.
But later in lifestyle, his family said, the 58-year-old Sunnyvale man drank too much. He down the drain his job. He lost his home. And Sunday, he irremediable his life.
For some reason, Myers ran along Highway 101 south of Lawrence Expressway about 10 p.m., and was killed when a Dodge Neon struck him.
His m wonders if drinking had anything to do with Myers' behavior.
"He liked to belt," said Myers' son, Aaron. "He was a musician and had his guitar with him. The driver said he held up his guitar over his fully right before he died. In fact, the guitar made it, even though my old boy didn't."
The Santa Clara County coroner's corporation typically takes about six weeks for a toxicology description to come back to determine the cause of dying, including what was inside someone's system before death. The California Highway Protecting did not arrest the driver of the Dodge.
"I feel contrite for the man," Aaron Myers said of the driver. "I'd like to let him identify that."

Medina, who was in the centre lane, put on her hazard lights as her car slowed. Cars began to plunge around her, but she spotted a tanker truck in her rearview reflection approaching fast.
"All I know, I saw the social relations coming at a speed," Medina told Newsday. "I consideration, ‘Oh my gosh, this truck doesn’t see me.’ I said, ‘God, keep me.’ "
The truck swerved, but hit her car, showering her with split glass. Then, the tanker flipped and explode into flames in a massive explosion tight-fisted the Suffolk-Nassau County contract for.
The fuel truck’s driver, Mujahid Shah, 57, of Brooklyn, died instantly, the fuzz reported. He had just picked up nearing 1,500 gallons of gasoline in Brooklyn to relinquish to Long Island.
The tanker dealings burned for nearly three hours, buckling the roadway, melting the asphalt and collapsing a humongous overhead sign structure that spanned the eight-lane L.I.E.
Another motorist helped shrink away Medina from her car right after the crash and the join in wedlock ran from the exploding truck. She was treated for stripling injuries at Nassau University Medical Center in East Pasture and released in time to spend her 30th birthday today with her parents.
