Why does my 2000 Chevy Impala whine as I accelerate(I have the 3.8 liter engine)?

as I accelerate, either the moving, exhaust, or possibly the belts/accesories have a low-pitched whine as I accelerate. I have heard other cars like mine archaic by and they have the same issue, but not all of them.

i own a inform on and you need to check the power steering fluid and the transmission fluid,either one of these things will genesis it to do this,i see a lot of the newer ones low on transmission fluid ,and that will cause them to make a whining racket,just take a while and check all of this out,if you cant find it have a good mechanic look at it,they can probably find out where its coming from for you,capable luck with it hope this helps.

In the connected future, you may not see that iconic Ford insigne you may have been unlucky enough to glimpse beneath the flashing red and vulgar lights in your rearview mirror. Nearby police are getting ready to move to new force cars.

Ford announced last year that it’s ending product of the ubiquitous Crown Victoria Monitor Interceptor, which for nearly two decades has dominated the squadron car market nationwide. The move will shake up the look of patrol car fleets as law enforcement agencies scamper to fill the gap.

Madison residents can expect to see several Avoid Chargers hit the road in February as the heat begin to explore their options. With their hypocritical design, the Chargers will be in stark contrast to the boxy expeditious of Crown Vics.

“They’re definitely a virulent-looking car,” says Sgt. Eric Tripke of Madison’s See trade safety team.  

While the department plans to keep an eye on the make available and experiment with other models as they become available, there are few options in the snappish term.
